HiBus Privacy & Policy

HiBus ("we," "our," or "us") provides a dual-purpose bus scheduling and discovery platform. Our mission is to bridge the gap between passengers and operators through smart tracking and verified data aggregation.

We collect information to provide accurate transit schedules: User-Provided Data: Through Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email, and profile picture. Operator/Owner Data: Registered "Bus Partners" provide vehicle details, license plates, gallery images, and operational schedules. Transit Data (Routes & Timetables): We aggregate bus routes and timetables provided directly by Bus Owners and/or sourced from Government/Public Transit Authorities.

Crowdsourced & Official Data: While we strive for 100% accuracy, bus schedules are subject to change by government regulators or private operators without notice. Real-Time Processing: Location data used to filter nearby buses is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently on our servers.

The Process: Users may request account deletion via the App Settings. Grace Period: Your data is scheduled for deletion for 30 days. Logging back in during this window will reactivate the account. Finality: After 30 days, all personal data, owner records, and associated bus registrations are permanently purged from our Supabase database.

Camera/Gallery: Strictly for profile avatars and bus gallery uploads. Location : use for the bus filter and provide you the best possible bus Phone/Dialer: To facilitate the "Call to Book" feature via url_launcher. Network State: We monitor network integrity (DNS checking) to ensure "Offline Protection" during data entry.

HiBus is a discovery and information platform. We do not operate the buses listed. We are not liable for travel delays, cancellations, or inaccuracies in schedules provided by third-party owners or government sources.
